About Me
Trained by Harriette Ann Gray, she graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, MO with a B.F.A. in Dance, then moved to New York and studied at several studios including the Martha Graham Dance Studios.
While in New York as a choreographer, she made dances for the students at New York University, NYC, and blocked movement for the actors of Theater In A Trunk, NYC, as well as producing Amanda Kreglow Presents An Evening Of Dance, NYC.
As an instructor she taught at Stephens College, as well as at Perry/Mansfield Performing Arts School in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, The Banff Centre, Banff, Alberta, Canada, and The USDAN Center for Creative and Performing Arts, Long Island, NY.
In New York City, she danced in her own production as well as with Fred Mathews and Gary Masters.
For six years she produced and choreographed for Amanda Kreglow Presents Dance By~ a series of concerts by~ with three to eight local choreographers including Watta Ribas, Beth McEnery, Virginia Matthews, Gabriel Francisco, Jimmy Hit, Mercy Sidbury, Ruth Griffin and Russel Lilie, at the Spreckles Performing Arts Theater in Rohnert Park, CA.
In 2015 her 2007 dance "In The Mist Of Dying" was performed by the (Martha) Graham II Dance Company in TED Talks Live NYC, at the Town Hall Theater to capacity audiences. The dance has become part of the Graham 2 repertoire. Two of my dances, "Flocking" and "Invitation" have been performed by the UPside Dance Company in Healdsburg, CA.
As she is an artist, she has experimented with many art forms including: drawing, painting, photography, dance, choreography, performance coaching and directing, pottery and writing, all with great enjoyment.
It is her hope that this website will welcome you into the world of Contemporary Dance and stimulate your enthusiasm for the genre.
